I was chatting to the owner of Miloii, a beautiful lifestyle shop here in Malmö, Southern Sweden earlier this week and she let slip that her home had recently been captured by Andrea Papini and Emma Persson Lagerberg. Naturally I shot home to scour the net, and as predicted, Karolina Vertus (who is also a stylist and make-up artist) has the most beautiful apartment. Married to Daniel Magnusson, the couple live with their two young daughters in the centre of town and have decorated their home in soft, muted tones and the perfect blend of modern design and bohemian vintage finds. Let's take a peek....

What a lovely relaxed family home, don't you think?! 

If you live in or around Malmö, first, why haven't we met for coffee?! And two, many of the items you see can be bought at Miloii - although I'd like to warn you that the store also sells the most fabulous clothes (very dangerous indeed!).

Hello! I hope you're having a great start to the week? Thank you so much to Johanne for the guest post yesterday - doesn't she have a fab home? We're heading up to the hill-country village of Ella here in Sri Lanka later today and hoping to visit some tea plantations - as a Brit the prospect of being surrounded by tea all afternoon sounds like heaven! It's also a far cry from the flat lands of North Holland, which is beautiful in a different kind of way. And the owners of this Dutch residence, Rixt and Arjan have found their own beautiful spot close to the sea in Frisian Hemelum.  The duo were living in Curacao when they took the big step to buy a stolp farm along with vestibule and convert it into two unique places to stay. The spaces have been decorated with vintage pieces found on the internet and a mix of materials such as wool, cotton, felt, glass, marble, stone, and wood for a warm and relaxed, homely feel. Enjoy!

Iiiiit's Friday - yaaaay! It's been a very relaxed-bohomian week here on My Scandinavian Home with so many exciting homes full of personality - I hope you've felt inspired? To round up the feel of the week I thought we'd head to Melbourne, Australia and the home of artist Saskia Folk in a converted factory. Think industrial with a relaxed vibe and the odd splash of colour. The perfect home to complete the week!

I was thinking about how I'm torn between different styles: a relaxed graphical look with touches of colour (like in this beautiful Finnish family home) or a more vintage/industrial-inspired boho space. Do you feel the same? But, then I realised that it's the blend of styles in a home which makes it unique. This lovely, relaxed space in Biarritz is evidence of this. The family have blended industrial, vintage, bohemian and contemporary pieces and the home oozes personality and charm. Think polished concrete combined with warm rattan, cute kids corners, and large, open light-filled rooms. You may have seen this home before but when it's this fabulous there's always more inspiration to be found!
