Still no plans for Easter?  The pretty seaside cottage I showed earlier on in the week not your thing? Too late in the season for ski glamping?! Well, I might have just the thing. Designed by owner and interior designer Bea Mombaers,  this industrial style Bea B&B in Belgium is positively teeming with every piece a design lover could ask for. And complete with roaring log fire, uber comfy social areas and rumours of a pool you can check in anytime you like, but you might not want to ever leave (see what I did there?!). Oh and did I mention Bea also has an online shop selling similar items to the ones you see. This could get very dangerous indeed!

Anyone know the fastest way to Belgium?

A little note to say I'm on a little holiday in England this week with family and friends. I don't think I've had a day off all year so it will be lovely to kick back for a few days, switch off and take it easy. Although admittedly, it's soooo difficult to leave My Scandinavian Home for a few days...while I'm in London I'll also be heading to the Amara Interior Blog Awards,  so exciting! Thank you so much for voting for me, I am so happy to be shortlisted.

I can't stop eating chocolate right now - could it be the cold weather kicking in? My mind is on this completely and utterly chocolate to end all chocolate cake and this s'mores cutard cake mmmmmm!

The beautiful book 'we are freckled' is available for pre-order here (a definite addition to my autumn coffee table display!).

I'm on a constant hunt for the perfect rug and this pretty one from the Azilal region of Morocco is fab (find similar here). 

This week I'm planning to put my laptop and phone aside, partly inspired by these intimate images  - pretty powerful and thought provoking, don't you think?

Speaking of switching off - have you been to Iceland? I went a few years ago and loved it. If (when!) I go again I'd like to stay here (the pool...!). Or this house with a sea view?

I'm also feeling inspired by instagram galleries Up knörth and Dudelum - the cabins and landscapes are a-ma-zing. I'd love to own my own cabin one day in the middle of nowhere like this one in Norway. *sigh* and relax! If this doesn't inspire you, these pictures of the Norwegian Lofoten islands might...infact I could go absolutely anywhere on my travel inspiration board. A few years ago we were invited to a wedding in Puglia, in the heel of Italy. I was totally mesmerised by the area and I can still taste the olives and deliciously sun ripened tomatoes and aubergines today. Puglia is also known for its 'trullis' - pretty dry stone huts with a conical shaped roof. Seeing this beautiful holiday home from the region, captured by Frederic Vasseur, immediately transported me back to our wonderful holiday. I love the cool outdoor space, relaxed open storage, beautiful patterned tiles and floaty textiles. How much would you like to be in this villa right now?!

The white linen in the outdoor space not only keeps the covered area shaded but also creates a dreamy feel.

I also love the idea of having curtains around a bed - it really does create a sanctuary. I've been toying with this in my own bedroom - do you think it would work?

More beautiful Italian spaces include this converted mill, a designer's studio, rustic inspiration from the portfolio of wonderful portfolio of Claudio Tajoli and I'd love to visit this restauarant in Lazio with an olive tree at the centre!
